POLICY ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION PURSUANT TO ART. 13, EUROPEAN REGULATION N° 679/2016
The company ESPOSIZIONE INTERNAZIONALE CICLO E MOTOCICLO S.p.A. (hereinafter, for the sake of brevity, “E.I.C.M.A. S.p.A.”) is aware of the importance of the protection of the right to private life, concerning the processing of the personal information of its users, In conformity with European regulation 2016/679 and informs that the personal information collected through the online form will be processed in compliance with the law on personal data. This having been stated, pursuant to article 13 of European regulation 679/2016 , E.I.C.M.A. S.p.A. provides the following information:
1. Types of information collected
Personal information provided voluntarily by the person concerned
The following personal information are compulsory collected:
- personal data (name and surname), contact details of the natural person (e-mail), subject and message of the communication as well as reference company when the request is related to information to become an exhibitor.
2. Purposes and methods of processing
The personal information of the person concerned collected by E.I.C.M.A. S.p.A. will be processed for the following purposes:
a. To allow the user to to receive information about the event
b. To comply with any obligations required by law or regulations;
In addition, subject to consent by the users (to be granted through the relevant boxes to select), the data that concern them can be used for purposes of :

Sending advertising material concerning products and services, including financial, by ourselves and by by third-party companies belonging to the category of our commercial partners (reference is made by way of example to the main partners highlighted on the E.I.C.M.A. S.p.A. website: /), interested in offering advantageous commercial offers to those interested in our event, direct sale, market research or commercial communications by post, telephone, automated calling systems, fax, email, SMS, MMS. To this end, the data may also be communicated or transferred to such subjects in order to allow them to use them directly for sending their commercial communications.
d. Analysis of the data, events and services related to those interested for the identification, including through electronic processing, of their preferences and possible services and products of interest.
For the above purposes, data release is optional and has no impact
The personal information collected will be processed, kept and processed with electronic instruments and will be stored both on IT and paper supports, organized in data bases and on any other type of suitable support. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of information, illegal or incorrect use and unauthorized accesses.
The Data Controller confirms that the Processing does not take place according to an automated decision-making process nor is any profiling activity carried out, as outlined under Article 4 no. 4 of the GDPR without explicit consent.
3. Providing the information
Providing the personal information is compulsory for the purposes as per points 2. a) and 2. b): failing to provide the information, for both purposes, will entail the impossibility for E.I.C.M.A. S.p.A. to send information about the event.
4. Subjects to whom the personal information may be communicated.
The personal information collected will not be disclosed and may be communicated, as well as to the subjects who are recognized as having the faculty of and interest in accessing your personal information by provisions of the law or secondary and/or Community regulations, to personnel of the Data Controller, as well as to companies, associations or professional firms that perform services and activities on behalf of the Data Controller in the capacity of Data Manager for the fulfilment of legal obligations, as well as for every organizational and administrative requirement necessary for providing the services requested and per points 2c,2d and finally to third-party companies belonging to the category of our commercial partners (reference is made, by way of example and not exhaustive, to the main partners highlighted on the EICMA SpA website: /), for the purposes referred to in point 2c above subject to consent.
The names of the further subjects who may learn of your personal information in their capacity as “Data Managers” are shown in an updated list available at E.I.C.M.A. S.p.A. (to be requested at the addresses shown in point 6).
5. Rights of the Data Subject
As provided in Article 13 of the GDPR, the Data Subject may at any time exercise the following rights:
(a) right of access, rectification, cancellation, restriction, opposition: the Data Subject may at any time have access to his or her data, request its rectification if incorrect, request the deletion of data that is redundant but not of those legally required from the Data Controller, and also limit data access to certain figures;
b) right to data portability: the Data Subject has the right to receive in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format the personal data concerning him or her provided to a Data Controller and has the right to transmit such data to another Data Controller without hindrance from the Data Controller to whom he or she provided them exclusively in the cases provided for in Article 20 of the GDPR;
c) right to withdraw consent at any time: the Data Subject may withdraw consent at any time, assuming the consequences thereof without prejudice to the obligation of the Data Controller to continue to hold the personal data subject to this processing when this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation of the Data Controller or for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in connection with the exercise of public powers vested in the Data Controller.
(d) the right to be able to lodge a complaint with a privacy supervisory authority.
e) with regard to the marketing purposes referred to in paragraph 2 c) and 2 d), this is without prejudice to the possibility for the data subject who has given his or her consent: i. to request, at any time and free of charge, the Data Controller to receive communications exclusively through traditional means of contact such as paper mail or operator calls; ii. to object, at any time and free of charge, to the processing of his or her personal data for the aforementioned purposes. In this case, the data subject's right to object to the processing of his or her personal data through automated modes of contact (e.g., e-mails, mms or sms messages and social networks, etc.), extends to traditional modes of contact; iii. to object, at any time and free of charge, to the processing of his or her personal data for the aforementioned purposes only in part i.e., by expressing a choice about the contact mode.
f) as to the marketing purposes referred to in paragraph 2 c) and 2 d) it remains without prejudice to the possibility for the data subject to object, at any time and free of charge, to the processing of his or her personal data for the aforementioned purpose.

E.I.C.M.A. S.p.A. reserves the right to update this policy on the processing of personal information.
