One of the innovations presented by the Kappa brand for EICMA 2023 is K4900: a 49-LTR Monokey rear top case, made from 30% recycled material, derived from the recovery of polypropylene plastics. But that’s not all, compared to previous models, this one has also been improved in terms of its structure, by reinforcing the perimeter area with an undercut interior frame on the lid and the base. This choice has given the case greater solidity, while reducing its overall weight. The closure system has also been updated, and now features reinforced rear hinges which also act as supports to hold the lid when it is opened, in place of the traditional “cords and pulleys” on the inside. Aesthetically, the K4900 top case is defined by an extremely “clean” and minimalist design which reflects current trends. Moreover, the classic reflectors have been replaced by a printed insert in two colour variants: black and grey, thus avoiding all the subsequent steps of painting and satisfying the green requirement. It is noteworthy that the K4900 can hold two modular helmets.
