The Austrian company unveiled the final version of its mid-weight sportbike, the 990 RC R, at EICMA 2024. Powered by a 947 cc LC8c parallel-twin engine capable of 130 hp and 103 Nm, it features a steel tube frame with an aluminum swingarm. The suspension is fully adjustable WP Apex, while the front braking system benefits from the latest Brembo Hypure calipers. The electronic system is comprehensive and can be managed through an 8.8” color TFT touchscreen display, and the ergonomics have been designed to avoid being too extreme, enhancing the comfort for street riding. KTM has also announced a 990 RC R Track version, exclusively for track use, without lights or license plate but equipped with components designed specifically for higher performance.
