Aprilia completes its sportiest range with the new RS 457, the missing link between two Aprilia’s most appreciated bikes, the RS 125 and RS 660. With A2-license holders in mind, Aprilia gave birth to a model which features front fairing and underbelly silencer, with a 2-in-1 exhaust. The new Aprilia RS 457 is powered by liquid-cooled parallel twin- cylinder engine, capable of 45 hp and 175 kg (wet) weight. Thanks to these figures the newcomer boasts the best power-to-weight ratio within its segment. On the chassis front, however, Aprilia is the only manufacturer in the segment to opt for aluminum, using the crankcase functions as a load-bearing element. The 41 mm diameter upside-down fork and monoshock are both adjustable in preload while the braking system features a 320 mm front disc with a ByBre radial- mount 4-piston caliper.
