The new Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory is powered by a 660 cc front-parallel twin-cylinder engine, with a double overhead camshaft, four valves per cylinder, and enlarged 52 mm throttle bodies. It delivers 105 hp but is also available in a reduced 48 hp (35 kW) version. The swingarm, pivoting on the engine’s support structure, is connected to an Öhlins STX 46 monoshock, the fork, also Öhlins, is part of the NIX 30 series with 43 mm diameter tubes and is adjustable, like the monoshock, in compression, rebound, and spring preload. The APRC electronic package, centered on Ride BY Wire and a six-axis inertial platform, includes standard features like launch control (ALC), electronic quick shifter (AQS), and multi-map Cornering ABS. Everything is controlled through the new handlebar-mounted controls and a 5” screen with enhanced brightness and reduced glare. The design has been updated in the front section, and the engine lacks an underbelly fairing. Many accessories are available, including a single-seat tailpiece to replace the passenger seat.
