After replicating the success of the 502 with the TRK 702, Benelli in Pesaro aims at raising the bar once again. The TRK 902 Xplorer, a new concept bike making its debut at EICMA, partly reveals their intentions. Built on an entirely new platform, the 902 Xplorer brings many new features. The front is more compact, with a beak-like nose topped by LED headlights and a unique DRL light. The bike’s rear is sleek and lifted, designed to point decisively upwards. The steel tube trellis frame peeks out from under the bodywork, which sports an exclusive matte "Jungle Fog" color. Additionally, the bike features integrated fog lights and an electronically adjustable windshield. For long-distance adventure enthusiasts, Benelli has equipped the TRK 902 Xplorer with an exclusive toolbox located where the passenger seat would be, along with a large 22-liter fuel tank. However, the highlight of the Benelli TRK 902 Xplorer is its new 904 cc twin-cylinder engine, rated at 100 HP and 90 Nm of torque. This engine is an evolution of QJ’s 800 unit. Pirelli Scorpion Rally tires, sized 110/80-19” in the front and 150/70-17” in the rear, are mounted on spoked wheels.
