Taking advantage of the need to comply with Euro 5+ standards, BMW is updating its two supersport models for 2025. The M 1000 RR features a new aerodynamic package that generates more downforce, while maintaining its declared top speed of 314 km/h. This is also thanks to a 6 hp increase in the inline four-cylinder engine with variable timing, now delivering a total of 218 hp at 14,500 rpm. The chassis has been optimized in key areas, and the electronics have gained a steering angle sensor, already present on the S 1000 RR, enabling drift control functions during acceleration and braking. As for the S 1000 RR 2025, the front design has been reworked and now integrates the aerodynamic wings from the previous M RR generation. The technical specifications remain unchanged, while the standard electronic package has been enhanced with configurable Pro Riding Modes, which allow access to two additional throttle response options and are fully customizable.
The bikes will be showcased at EICMA 2024, Hall 14 | Booth E50, E50SOP
