BMW's roadsters are getting an update for 2025 with a redesigned front end, featuring dual headlights inspired by the brand’s supersport models. From the technical side, both models now meet Euro 5+ standards and come with a new throttle control with a shorter 58° rotation. The S 1000 R gains an increase in maximum power by 5 hp, totaling 170 hp at 11,000 rpm, and its standard equipment has been upgraded to include adjustable engine brake control, a USB-C charging port and the E-call emergency system. The technical package for the 2025 M 1000 R is confirmed, including the inline four-cylinder engine with Shiftcam variable timing, which in this configuration delivers 210 hp.
