Its name is Desmo450 MX. With this project Ducati bursts into the world of motocross. Not much is known about this machine in technical terms, but it is already a super winner, as demonstrated during the Italian Pro - Prestige MX1 Championship 2024 by the podiums of Alessandro Lupino (in action in the opening photo) and Tony Cairoli. The engine does not betray the brand's origins and brings with it Desmo technology for opening and closing the intake and exhaust valves. The frame is a semi-perimeter aluminium one, with the upper part made of a single casting, without welding. There is also no lack of premium components as far as the chassis is concerned: the suspension is by Showa while the braking system is Brembo branded.
