10 years after the launch of the first generation, the Ducati Diavel is ready to mark the beginning of a new era. At EICMA 2022 it will take center-stage featuring an unprecedented version. The new Diavel now adopts in fact the V4 Granturismo engine - derived from the Multistrada model - which is powered by 168 hp and 126 Nm, and is combined with a 240/45 rear tyre. This machine features a chassis with a monocoque frame and a single-sided swingarm, both made of aluminum; Ducati declare the kerb weight without fuel stands at 223 kg, 13 kg less if compared to the Diavel 1260 S. Its muscular line perfectly integrates the signature front and rear light clusters and turn signals, not to mention the footrests and passenger grab bar. The exhaust system with four-exits stands out at first glance. Also to be mentioned, the electronic package which includes ABS Cornering Evo, Ducati Traction Control Evo 2 (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), Ducati Power Launch (DPL), Quick Shift up/down (DQS) EVO 2 and Cruise Control. The instrumentation features a new 5” colour TFT dashboard. The new Diavel V4 will arrive in the European dealerships starting from January 2023 in two colour schemes: Ducati Red and Thrilling Black.
