After previewing it at EICMA 2023, Honda brings the final version of its new maxi naked, the CB1000 Hornet, to the 2024 edition. It is powered by a four cylinder engine derived from the 2017 CBR1000RR, revised to offer maximum smoothness and mid-range torque, capable of 152 hp at 11,000 rpm and 104 Nm at 9,000. The chassis is a double-beam steel frame, with fully adjustable Showa suspension and Nissin brakes. In addition to the standard version, the CB1000 Hornet SP will also be available at launch, offering an additional 5hp and 3 Nm thanks to a dedicated exhaust valve, as well as an Öhlins TTX36 rear shock, Brembo Stylema front brake calipers, and quickshifter with downshift blipper.
