Suzuki GSX-S1000GX, crossover made in Japan

The maxi crossover segment enlarges with the unveiling at EICMA 2023 of the new Suzuki GSX-S1000GX. As its name suggests, its technical base is shared both with the GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000GT. As a consequence, the engine is the familiar 152-hp inline 4-cylinder combined with an electronic gearbox that works in upshifting and downshifting. The aluminum chassis has the same origin but new chassis and technological innovations abound, starting with the semi-active SAES Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspensions. Everything is controlled by the latest and most advanced version of Suzuki's suite of electronic Intelligent Ride Systems (SIRS). Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control and an adjustable windshield. There is no shortage of instrumentation with 6.5-inch TFT connected. The weight is 232 kg.
