SWM VA is a tribute to the Varese province, where SWM has its headquarters, and is also the acronym that identifies the new family to which the two new naked VA 125 and VA 400 presented at EICMA belong. They share the same frame - a steel tube trellis - and the chassis, featuring a 41 mm USD fork together with a Brembo braking system. Instead, they differ in the volume of the single-cylinder engine, 125 cc the small and 400 cc the largest, and in the weight of 136 kg and 144 kg respectively. But there are not only motorbikes at the stand of SWM manufacturer: the new 500 cc parallel twin engine, developed to equip a new platform that will include the long-awaited Superdual, also stands out. It promises a power of 47 hp at 8,500 rpm, and will have a 6-speed gearbox and a weigh 50 kg.
